The role
As a Data Scientist on the Risk Team, you will design and optimize ML models to detect fraud and assess risk in a fintech payments environment.
You will analyze large-scale data, extract actionable insights, and build predictive models that scale in production.
You will bridge theoretical data science with practical, robust data-driven strategies for risk management and mitigation.
You will develop and maintain data pipelines, monitor model performance, and contribute to regulatory compliance.
You will collaborate with risk analysts, software engineers, and other data scientists in a fully remote, distributed setup.
You will communicate effectively in English and Portuguese, translating technical findings into business impact.
