The role
An IT Systems and Network Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining complex network servers, PCs, and maritime surveillance systems. They troubleshoot connectivity issues, monitor system performance, and support customer IT departments, ensuring reliable operation and security. The role involves extensive travel to international locations, with projects often requiring up to 12 weeks onsite. Candidates should possess at least five years of experience in network and system setup, with strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers and networking protocols. Experience with virtualisation and cloud platforms is advantageous, alongside excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
