The role
Lead and supervise a team of Local 1 stagehands in theater carpentry and rigging operations.
Coordinate installation of scenic elements, stage deck, automation, and rigging for performances.
Enforce safety standards for carpentry and rigging equipment.
Track schedules, time sheets, and payroll for department members.
Maintain and operate tools and systems including saws, welding equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, and rigging.
Work at heights up to 90 feet and lift up to 50 pounds in a dynamic environment.
