The role
Lead the estimation process for complex multi-family projects up to $100 million from the South Shore office, with no travel required.
Review architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and RFPs to determine project scope and develop accurate cost estimates; perform quantity take-offs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring full scope coverage and competitive pricing; collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to support value engineering.
Mentor and develop junior estimators to enhance accuracy, consistency, and best practices within the estimating team; manage bid timelines and conduct bid reviews.
Stay current on market trends, material costs, and labor rates in New England; participate in post-bid reviews to refine estimating practices and improve team efficiency.
Focus on delivering high-quality bid packages and cost-effective project outcomes through collaboration and rigorous estimating discipline.
