Payroll, Benefits & HR Specialist
Manage weekly payroll for ~120 employees across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accurate processing and timely delivery. Administer benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, 401(k)) with open enrollment and new-hire enrollment. Ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws, OCIP reporting, payroll tax filings, garnishments, and W-2 processing; support audits. Oversee HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, I-9s, employment verifications, and confidential personnel records. Maintain monthly reconciliations of payroll, benefits, payroll taxes, and expenses; generate standard and ad hoc reports; support ERP integrations. Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline payroll and HR workflows.
