The role
The role involves supporting manufacturing activities from concept to delivery within a large aerospace and defence manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include process definition, new product introduction, reviewing engineering files and managing non-conformance, engineering change, product costs, and continuous improvement using Lean techniques. Candidates should have experience in manufacturing engineering processes, strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and a relevant engineering degree. Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Oracle, Palma, and Mestec is required. The position offers development opportunities and flexible working options, with the majority of work conducted on-site in Glasgow.
