The role
The PR Manager in this role is responsible for managing media relations for a global travel organisation in the UK & Ireland, with a focus on consumer and trade media. The position involves developing media strategies, leading external agency efforts, building relationships with journalists, organising press trips, and supporting marketing integration. The candidate should have at least five years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a solutions-oriented approach, with familiarity in the travel or hospitality industries being advantageous. The role requires a BA degree, independent working capabilities, and the ability to handle crises and analyse communications impact, including travelling for events. As a line manager, the individual will oversee a PR team and manage the annual budget.
