The role
The role involves leading detailed Mechanical and Electrical estimates for projects valuing between £500k and £4m, reviewing tender documentation and developing cost plans. The candidate will prepare enquiries for subcontractors, evaluate quotations, and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive tenders. They will support project handover, assist with project delivery queries, and maintain tender records for future use. Collaboration with bid, commercial, and operational teams is essential for enhancing bid quality and efficiency. The position requires experience with digital estimating software, innovation in estimating processes, and knowledge of renewable technologies. The successful applicant will manage multiple tenders effectively and work proactively to develop new systems and digital workflows.
