The role
Tries jury and bench criminal cases in the San Francisco Superior Court, handling evidentiary and related hearings.
Represents the People of California in court appearances, petitions, motions, and written documents, including court filings.
Upholds fair and ethical prosecution practices, treating victims, witnesses, and defendants with dignity.
Interviews witnesses, conducts investigations, and drafts briefs in coordination with assigned cases and trials.
Prepares the daily court calendar and maintains warrants, citations, and comprehensive case files.
Engages with law enforcement and community partners as needed and conducts legal research to support prosecutions.
