The role
Develop accurate estimates, budgets, and schedules for civil construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and client value.
Interpret plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports; visit sites to gather essential data and refine estimating approaches.
Lead negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers, and integrate life cycle cost analysis and value engineering when appropriate.
Generate clear scopes of work, exclusions, qualifications, and bid packages suitable for submission to clients and internal teams.
Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, local regulations, and real estate development activity; utilize HeavyBid and Bluebeam efficiently.
Ensure budget compliance throughout the project lifecycle and provide support during contract negotiations and bid submissions.
