Resident Doctor Critical Care

A healthcare provider is seeking experienced Resident Doctors with a specialist interest in adult critical care, ITU/HDU, to work on a nights-only basis at a private hospital in Birmingham. The role involves monitoring, assessing, and stabilising patients, including managing ventilatory support and performing advanced procedures such as central venous access and airway management. The successful candidate will manage patients across multiple specialties, overseeing complex cases and maintaining accurate records, while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Support during night shifts includes a registered nurse and on-call consultant, with downtime facilities provided, all within a well-rated, modern Critical Care Unit. Candidates must hold full GMC registration, specialise in intensive care, anaesthesia, or heavy-critical care training, and demonstrate experience in a Level 3 adult critical care environment, committed to long-term night work.
