The role
A Junior Project Coordinator / Estimator is responsible for supporting construction projects within the interior fit outs sector, handling multiple projects from £30K to £600K. They interpret construction drawings, assist in tender submissions, and prepare bills of quantities and cost plans. The role involves liaising with suppliers, managing project documentation, and ensuring project completion aligns with client expectations. Candidates should possess some estimating experience, familiarity with construction sectors, and basic knowledge of health and safety standards. Skills in AutoCAD and technical drawing interpretation are advantageous but not mandatory. The position involves working in an office five days a week with occasional site visits.
