The role
Lead and grow an 8–10 person ML engineering and research team focused on real-time speech, audio, and language models (ASR/STT, TTS, and small LLMs).
Define the technical roadmap from research prototyping to production deployment, ensuring low latency, high accuracy, and scalable model serving.
Oversee end-to-end ML development, including experimentation pipelines, training workflows, evaluation benchmarks, and deployment standards.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and infrastructure teams to translate product requirements into effective ML solutions.
Establish strong ML engineering practices, including monitoring systems, metrics, and continuous improvements to model quality and user experience.
Foster an inclusive, high-performing culture, and drive talent growth and hiring as the team scales.
