The role
The Assistant Psychologist supports high-quality, evidence-based care for individuals with eating disorders under supervision. The role involves conducting assessments, formulating care plans, and assisting with therapeutic interventions in both individual and group formats. The post-holder also contributes to service improvements through audits, research, and project work, adhering to safeguarding policies and maintaining accurate records. Working in a multidisciplinary environment, they will develop skills in specialised therapeutic approaches like CBT-e and CBT-AR, participating in supervision and meetings. Technical responsibilities include using software for data analysis, report writing, and therapy coordination.
