The role
A Database Administrator in Leeds is responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and efficiency of production databases within a highly regulated environment. The role involves acting as the custodian of database access, ensuring uptime and security, and performing routine monitoring, backups, and performance tuning. The administrator will support development and release processes, and assist with database schema updates and migration projects. Strong expertise in T‑SQL, performance optimisation, and experience with large, high‑transaction systems are essential. Knowledge of cloud platforms and compliance standards is preferred.
