The role
The Environmental & Sustainability Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving the site's ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 management systems while ensuring compliance with UK environmental legislation. The role involves managing permits, conducting audits, overseeing waste and incident management, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a large manufacturing facility. Candidates should possess a relevant degree and experience in environmental roles within manufacturing environments, with a focus on legislation compliance.
