The role
Conduct overnight sleep studies across age groups using polysomnography to monitor brain activity, respiration, heart rate, and oxygen levels.
Analyze and document sleep study data, generate reports for physician interpretation, and ensure accuracy of findings.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during sleep studies and therapy sessions, including monitoring for adverse events.
Apply and remove electrodes and sensors according to AASM standards and calibrate equipment for precision.
Assist with CPAP/BiPAP titration and educate patients on device usage and sleep hygiene.
Collaborate with physicians to develop personalized treatment plans and supervise trainees and assisting technicians.
