The role
The Composites Manufacturing Engineer at iCOMAT is responsible for taking components from design to production, ensuring process risks are evaluated and manufacturing instructions are clear. They support business development, create routings and Bills of Materials, and develop process sheets and quality control procedures. The role involves working with tooling teams, developing risk mitigation plans, and reviewing production data for improvements. Candidates should have practical knowledge of composite manufacturing, strong understanding of composite materials, and experience with CAD software. Familiarity with aerospace quality standards and process optimisation methods is essential, with additional skills in project management and technical guidance preferred.
