The role

A Python Software Engineer evaluates, develops, and maintains cloud-native applications using Python and AWS, with a focus on healthcare environments. They collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and optimise scalable infrastructures, pipelines, and microservices. The role involves building infrastructure as code with Terraform, developing CI/CD pipelines, and working with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Candidates should possess strong scripting skills, commercial experience, and familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7. They are responsible for troubleshooting issues, improving application performance, and adhering to DevOps best practices in a large-scale transformation programme.
