The role
A game developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining game software using C++. They build graphical video-based applications for terminal-based gaming machines and collaborate with artists to integrate visual assets effectively. The role involves working closely with QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues swiftly, as well as assisting with technical implementation and ensuring optimal game functionality. Candidates are expected to have commercial experience with C++ development and creating video or graphical applications, with familiarity in source control systems like Git or SVN. Knowledge of DirectX environments and understanding of software development best practices are also essential. A relevant degree or equivalent experience in computer science or software engineering supports application suitability.
