The role
The role involves providing night-time care to a 14-year-old girl with complex healthcare needs within her family home in Ravenshead. The successful candidate will work three nights per week as part of a team, closely collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care plans tailored to the patient's needs. Responsibilities include ensuring health, safety, and wellbeing, supporting personal care and medication management, and engaging with the client through her favourite activities like watching Disney films and singing. Candidates should have a caring nature and eagerness to learn, with essential skills including patience, empathy, and effective communication. Technical requirements include experience in paediatric and complex care, a driving licence is preferred, and an Enhanced Child Barred DBS check is essential.
