The role
The position involves supporting qualified psychologists in assessing and formulating psychological care plans for patients at mental health services. The role includes assisting with assessments, scoring, reporting, and delivering individual or group programmes, as well as contributing to research and service development. Candidates should have a psychology degree with a 2:1 or above, ideally accredited by the BPS, and experience in healthcare or assistant psychology roles is preferred. Tasks require strong organisational and communication skills, with familiarity in clinical formulation, care planning, and delivering psychological interventions. The environment encompasses clinical assessments, research, administration, and multidisciplinary team collaboration across multiple service sites.
