The role
Lead statewide pesticide and fertilizer compliance enforcement, coordinating with program managers and investigators to direct enforcement activities.
Develop and execute a comprehensive quality assurance plan and standard operating procedures, including tracking for EPA cooperative agreements.
Review evidence and investigations to determine appropriate enforcement actions, dispositions, and follow-up; support cases in hearings.
Manage day-to-day supervision of two administrative staff; serve as custodian of enforcement records and respond to subpoenas and data requests.
Coordinate with the Indiana Attorney General, local prosecutors, law enforcement, EPA offices, and other agencies to develop enforcement cases; build stakeholder relationships.
Provide regulatory research support and assist with pesticide and fertilizer law interpretation; support IRSSS investigations when requested.
