The role
Defines problems, conducts research, analyzes criteria, and drives data-driven design decisions.
Modifies existing designs to meet customer requirements and produces drawings, assemblies, and reports.
Leads cross-functional projects, mentors engineers, and provides training.
Sets product cost targets, evaluates claims, and introduces standard products to manufacturing.
Supports manufacturing and customers with technical assistance and clear written and verbal communication.
Requires CAD proficiency, basic manufacturing process knowledge, and occasional travel for training or validation.
