The role
Perform systems engineering activities in cybersecurity, RMF A&A per DoDI 8510.01, shaping secure requirements for DoD space and ground systems.
Execute cryptographic system security engineering (SSE) in accordance with NSA requirements and regulatory standards.
Define security requirements, architecture, and design for embedded and large-scale distributed space and ground networks; assess vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
Coordinate cybersecurity and cryptographic requirements with Space Force stakeholders and external contractors, cascading architecture flow-down to system elements.
Lead cybersecurity planning, verification, and validation efforts, and manage RMF categorization for confidentiality, integrity, and availability per CNSSI 1253 and NIST 800-53.
Support program protection, MBCRA activities, and cybersecurity strategies to enable milestone approvals; work on-site in a secure facility.
