The role
In this Staff Data Scientist role, you will lead the development of methods and models to explain why content is promoted or not, work on zero-to-one product bets, and develop a deep understanding of user needs and the Curation system. You will build robust online/offline evaluation frameworks to assess recommendation outputs, translate insights into actionable product decisions, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will mentor and up-skill junior data scientists, partner with product, engineering, design, and research teams, and relentlessly focus on impact by advancing north-star metrics and critical processes.
