The role
Collaborate with multiple operating units and Program Managers to design and deploy robust Data Engineering Pipelines, and monitor system quality post-deployment.
Define core data models across business domains and build scalable, reliable pipelines using Spark, Flink, Kafka, and Hive.
Learn and adopt new big data technologies for architecture, storage, and platform capabilities, while guiding teammates and juniors.
Own the domain's technical quality, troubleshoot legacy systems, and craft a roadmap for incremental improvements.
Apply strong SQL and programming skills (Java, Python, Kotlin) and enforce data quality and governance in data warehousing.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, drive ownership, and contribute to Platform Biz Intelligence initiatives through automation and process improvements.
