The role
Identify and develop core technologies for next-gen recommender systems using large language models and long-context reasoning.
Research semantic IDs, generative retrieval and ranking, and large user models to push state-of-the-art capabilities.
Build prototypes that demonstrate the art of the possible and translate breakthroughs into production-ready solutions.
Collaborate with product teams to deploy scalable, real-world recommendations across flagship products.
Lead experiments from conception through productionisation, embracing iteration when ideas don’t work out.
Contribute to a culture of scientific excellence through rigorous evaluation, clear communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
