The role
Lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge machine learning and information retrieval techniques to enhance real-time search quality at scale.
Own core systems for query understanding, result ranking, and query recommendation to improve recall, relevance, and user engagement.
Translate product objectives into scalable ML solutions, balancing performance, reliability, and user experience in a high-traffic environment.
Provide technical leadership, drive strategy iterations, and guide architecture decisions across ranking, recall, and reliability.
Mentor teammates through feedback, coaching, and knowledge sharing to raise the team’s capability and delivery speed.
Operate in a fast-paced, autonomous culture that values curiosity, collaboration, and solving impactful problems.
