The role
Coordinate and provide direct patient care for a high-acuity Medical Progressive Care Unit, including hemodynamic monitoring and complex interventions.
Lead nursing care planning, execution, and evaluation; educate patients and families and support transitions of care across settings.
Practice within a professional nursing model, demonstrating accountability, communication, mentorship, and involvement in quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., vascular access, respiratory therapy, central transport) to ensure safe, efficient care.
Demonstrate adaptability to unpredictable situations, maintain patient safety, and provide compassionate care during nights, weekends, and holidays; proficient with electronic medical records.
Meet licensure and certification requirements (RN license, BLS, ACLS) and preferred one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting.
