The role
The role involves supporting the design and delivery of electrical systems for data centres and mission-critical facilities in Telford and across the UK and Europe. Responsibilities include preparing calculations, drawings and documentation under supervision, developing technical knowledge of electrical systems and UK standards, and assisting with cross-disciplinary coordination and documentation. The engineer will also support the development of design deliverables and maintain technical records, with a focus on qualitative outcomes. The position offers technical training, mentoring, and progression towards professional chartership status. Limited support in construction documentation and site inspections may be involved, requiring engagement with project teams and technical queries.
