The role
An established construction contractor seeks an experienced estimator to join its pre-construction team in Birtley, specialising in civil engineering projects. The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates, reviewing drawings, and liaising with clients and suppliers to produce competitive tenders. Candidates should have proven estimating experience within construction or civil engineering and strong analytical skills. Knowledge of estimating software such as Causeway is desirable. The position requires managing multiple tenders and maintaining accurate records to support project proposals. The successful candidate will contribute to securing profitable contracts and supporting the company's growth objectives.
