The role
As a founding Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will shape the architecture, engineering standards, and product direction for an AI-first SaaS platform.
You will own end-to-end feature development across the stack: backend services (Node.js with TypeScript/JavaScript), frontend, and Python-based tools.
Design and implement AI-powered capabilities including chat and autonomous agents, context/memory management, prompt engineering, evaluation, and agent orchestration.
Use AI coding agents (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, Claude) as a core part of daily development; collaborate with product and leadership on roadmaps.
Deploy and operate services on AWS/GCP/Azure; debug production issues and improve system reliability and performance.
Mentor and grow the engineering team as the company scales; based in Irvine, CA with hybrid/remote options.
