Paediatric Neurologist – Aberdeen

A Paediatric Neurologist is sought in Aberdeen to join the regional service based at Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital, covering a 6-month fixed-term period. The role involves participating in a 1:3 rota for daytime neurology cover, including ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and clinical administration, with out-of-hours telephone advice on a 1:5 rota shared across the region. Candidates must be registered with the GMC and have relevant specialist qualifications, with experience in managing acute neurological emergencies and regional service delivery. The position requires strong organisational, teaching, and research skills, alongside excellent interpersonal abilities for multidisciplinary teamwork. The candidate will be expected to develop and lead clinical audits and possibly contribute to research activities, with a focus on regional paediatric neurology development.
