Electrical Engineer – Cardiff

An electrical engineer is sought to join Cardiff Harbour Authority's maintenance team, responsible for maintaining the Cardiff Barrage. The position requires a formal electrical apprenticeship and a relevant engineering certification, such as an HNC. Candidates should have substantial electrical engineering knowledge, particularly in hydraulic controls, with experience in heavy industry. The role involves working at heights from vessels, confined spaces, and operating mobile plant, along with participation in an out-of-hours standby service.
