An engineer with expertise in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs performs diagnostic checks, preventative maintenance and MOT preparation for commercial buses and coaches. This role involves attending roadside breakdowns and ensuring compliance with DVSA standards. Candidates should possess an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in PSV/HGV maintenance and hold a full UK driving licence with six or fewer penalty points. The role requires good technical skills in vehicle repair, diagnostic tools and safety procedures. Candidates should be fit to pass a medical exam for PCV driving and have strong problem-solving abilities.
