Lead the design and deployment of advanced ML techniques to detect and prevent fraud and anomalies in payments (POS, card-not-present, cross-border, returns, ATM cashouts).
Define and manage fraud taxonomies and thresholds to maximize true positives and expand coverage of fraud schemes.
Collaborate with technology partners to enhance detection capabilities, improve pattern recognition, and deliver actionable insights.
Develop and test real-time and batch monitoring pipelines, including custom algorithms and model optimization for risk reduction.
Engage with clients to understand risk challenges, tailor solutions, and communicate complex analyses with clarity to stakeholders.
This hybrid role is based in Foster City, CA, with partial remote option and 5-10% travel; a fast-paced, ambiguity-tolerant environment.
