Deputy Operations Manager – Bestwood Village

The Deputy Operations Manager supports the senior management team in an established engineering operation, overseeing engineering teams, customer projects, and operational performance. The role involves leading and coordinating engineering and project teams, managing project delivery from start to finish, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. Candidates should possess engineering qualifications or substantial relevant experience, alongside project management expertise, strong planning skills, and knowledge of NEC3 contracts. Excellent communication and customer liaison skills are essential, along with technical understanding of mechanical systems and risk assessments. The position offers a chance to develop operational ownership across projects, people, and commercial objectives in an infrastructure environment. Deputising for the Area Manager, the individual will contribute to strategic development and operational excellence while supporting health & safety and collaborating with supply chain and internal departments.
