Data Science Intern (TikTok-Product-Data Science) - 2025 Summer (PhD)

Join a Product Data Science team that partners with cross-functional groups to define success metrics, monitor growth, and forecast product outcomes. You will apply quantitative analysis, data mining, and experimentation to develop strategies for product optimization, quantify impact via causal inference, and generate actionable insights through deep-dive analyses. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other teams to influence and execute product strategy. Required: pursuing a PhD in a technical field; proficient in Python or R and SQL; experience with forecasting, statistical or causal inference, and classification methods. Strong product sense, structured thinking, and the ability to translate analysis into business decisions are essential. This 12-week internship runs May/June 2025 with multiple start dates; applicants may apply to up to two positions.
