Senior Back End Engineer – Cardiff

The role involves designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud platform services that underpin critical digital products within the organisation. The engineer will work on automation, observability, monitoring, and CI/CD capabilities, utilising Python and modern engineering practices. They will develop infrastructure as code and embed site reliability engineering principles like SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to improve service resilience. Responsibilities include supporting live operations, incident management, and troubleshooting to ensure platform stability.
