仕事内容
Edit and proofread short manuscripts (picture books, chapter books, and short stories) and longer manuscripts (middle grade, young adult, and adult novels) to ensure sense and consistency.
Apply and maintain house style guides, and ensure accuracy of text and art across projects.
Perform proofreading at all stages to verify changes have been implemented as requested.
Collaborate with authors and editors to resolve issues related to grammar, style, and terminology.
Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a project-based workflow.
Requirements include 3 years of copy editing experience, strong knowledge of grammar and spelling, familiarity with Word and Adobe, and comfort with Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition.
