Legal Counsel, Commercial – Northampton

A global education provider is seeking a Legal Counsel, Commercial to join its legal team. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts such as service and technology agreements, as well as partnership agreements and IP matters. The successful candidate will advise on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management, with a focus on international education. They will support the business with M&A, joint ventures, and commercial partnerships while working closely with internal teams like IT, HR, and Marketing. The role requires a qualified lawyer with at least four years' PQE, ideally from private practice or in-house with private practice experience, demonstrating expertise in contract negotiation and compliance. It is primarily remote with occasional in-office requirements in London for candidates who are close enough to commute.
