仕事内容
Based onsite in North Bend, Oregon, the Compliance Officer leads Health Information Management (HIM) and the Compliance program to ensure HIPAA compliance, data integrity, and regulatory alignment.
Oversees the medical records life cycle, release of information, and EHR data quality while safeguarding patient privacy and security.
Develops and enforces policies and procedures, conducts risk assessments and internal audits, and investigates potential compliance issues.
Delivers ongoing compliance and privacy training, provides regular reports to the CEO and Board, and manages regulatory reporting and risk mitigation.
Manages HIM/Privacy/Compliance staff, plans workload, evaluates performance, and fosters a culture of quality, ethics, and collaboration.
Supports EMR enhancements and QA/QI initiatives, handles patient complaints and FTCA-related matters, and ensures readiness for audits and external reviews.
