Senior or Staff Data Scientist, Recommendations

You will lead the design and build of our music discovery and recommendation systems from the ground up.
Define the initial content discovery strategy, goals, and success metrics in partnership with product and growth.
Prototype and iterate on recommendation algorithms by analyzing user behavior and content characteristics.
Design and run rigorous experiments and A/B tests to validate improvements and measure impact on engagement, retention, and music creation.
Develop comprehensive evaluation frameworks for relevance, diversity, novelty, and user satisfaction; collaborate with engineering and product to ship changes.
Shape the data culture by strengthening data foundations and influencing cross-functional decisions in a high-ambiguity environment.
