Critical Care Nurse – Aberdeen

The position involves working within the General Critical Care Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, offering full and part-time hours. Registered Nurses will work in a dynamic, specialist environment alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide critical care services. Candidates should demonstrate strong core values, team spirit, motivation, and a commitment to ongoing learning. The role includes participation in an extensive education programme based on the National Competency Framework and university-level modules in Critical Care nursing. The unit has 28 funded beds catering to level 2 and 3 care for diverse critical illnesses, including unique opportunities in hyperbaric and trauma care. Additionally, there is potential for further training within the ECMO team, supported by a cutting-edge service recognised with a platinum award.
