A Birmingham-based local authority is seeking a Quality Project & Compliance Officer to support continuous improvement, compliance, and project management within the Environmental Health team. The role involves leading audits, inspections, risk assessments, and monitoring legislative compliance, with responsibilities for investigating incidents and supporting quality management systems. Candidates should have experience in quality assurance, project management, or compliance in regulated contexts, with strong organisational and analytical skills. Knowledge of ISO standards, audit processes, and health and safety regulation are advantageous. The position offers hybrid working, a 12-month contract, and the chance to work on projects that enhance public wellbeing and service quality.
