Investment Bank – Trading Venues Solutions -VP

As a VP, you design, develop, and improve software for capital markets trading venues, focusing on Stock Loan and Equity Finance front-office systems. You will work closely with trading, product, and technology teams to define requirements and influence architectural decisions. You will build high-performance Java-based services using Spring Boot, with emphasis on multi-threading, memory management, and performance optimization. You will architect and implement messaging and data pipelines using JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ, and optimize SQL Server-backed data stores. This role requires secure coding practices, robust unit testing, and CI/CD adoption while effectively collaborating with stakeholders across functions. The position is based in New York, NY, with on-site work and global collaboration.
