Data Engineer (L5) - Ads

This role focuses on architecting, strengthening, and expanding core data products that scale Ads data assets. You will fully own critical portions of Ads data products, collaborating with stakeholders to model tables and develop large-scale data processing solutions to ensure timely, high-quality data delivery. You will partner with Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers to create data products that serve analytics, ML, and reporting needs. You will develop governance practices for datasets with sensitive information and establish data architectures across multiple systems. You will build and optimize batch and streaming pipelines using big data technologies such as Spark, Flink, Hive, and Presto, while improving data models and performance. You will work in a fast-paced environment with strong communication, self-direction, and a focus on data quality and business impact, considering privacy and GDPR requirements.
