Senior Quantity Surveyor – Bristol

A Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing project costs from inception to completion, including budget preparation, cashflow management, and final account handling. They work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards. The role involves reviewing contracts, valuations, and variations, as well as attending site meetings to oversee progress and variations. Managing subcontractors and ensuring quality, scope, and expenditure stay in control are integral duties, alongside supporting team development and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The ideal candidate holds an RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying, with strong knowledge of construction methods, and preferably MRICS membership and roofing experience. They should demonstrate excellent numerical, analytical, negotiation skills, and attributes like proactivity, adaptability, collaboration, humour, and relationship-building.
