Mechanical Design Engineer

A Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing new and existing products, working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to produce practical engineering solutions. They will utilise CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks to create and review 3D models and fabrication drawings, ensuring designs meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards. The role includes conducting engineering calculations, developing technical documentation, and supporting manufacturing and testing activities. Candidates should possess experience with 3D CAD software, and knowledge of Finite Element Analysis would be advantageous. The position is suitable for graduates or experienced engineers with relevant qualifications and the ability to commute to Whitchurch.
